U Vrsovickeho nadrazi Park

We created a worthy public space from the park  in front of a primary school lined with two avenues of pyramidal oak trees. Our goal was to create a nice modern urban space. The park reflects the main group of the park visitors formed by the kids from the school. We laid a big “carpet”, which enables passing through in all directions and offers a space for games. We placed three trampolines there, which provide a lot of fun for the kids during school breaks as well as after the classes are over. In collaboration with Vojtech Bilisic, sculptor, we designed atypical oak benches . The benches are illuminated by LED strips, so  in the night they lose substance and appear to  “float”.

We paved the pavements around the park with the  cobbles in “Prague pattern”. The central part of the park is made from decomposed granite which is surrounded by  concrete paving. Two large grass areas were completely renovated and are covered by a blue carpet of small bulbous plants in the spring. Both areas have an automatic irrigation system that ensures the best quality of the lawn.
